Founded after a lifelong quest for hoppy ales to accompany and combine strenuous mountaineering trips with the passion for drinking them, after spending 30+ years of working in a high pressure, high stress and high tech, US based Electronic Design Automation Company in various senior worldwide marketing, sales support and business development roles, owners and directors Andrew & Joan Watts took early retirement and used a chunk of the 25% tax free portion of their pension fund to setup a family (husband and wife) business to finally create something far more tangible and enjoyable than specialised software.
Little London Brewery ales are crafted in Hampshire and sourced only from natural English ingredients namely Norfolk Malted Barley and Worcestershire Hops to reflect the passion for well-balanced but well hopped beers designed to be refreshingly easy to drink.
A core range of ales plus seasonal ones will be available year round giving a diversity of flavours from the sessionable Red Boy bitter to the contrasting light golden Hoppy Hilda pale ale and Doreen’s Dark ale then on to the dependably traditional Pryde best bitter finally all the way through to the more complex and stronger Ash Park Special bitter actually named after the convivial Business Centre where the brewery is situated.
